Dear Gate House Guests:
We have settled nicely into our new space in Suite B116 of the Village Gate, right next door to the former Gate House. We’d like to thank all of our guests for their incredible patronage through the transition. Ultimately, our decision to move was spurred by the desire to accommodate our customers in a more efficient way, with a shorter wait time, and in a more comfortable space. While customers are still encountering an occasional wait on busy nights, we believe our increased seating capacity has made the overall experience a better one for most guests. Please continue to visit us, whether it’s for a quick meal or for a special event, as we value your patronage immensely. So many of you consider the Gate House your go-to place, and we recognize that and and are committed to upholding the quality of food and service that you’ve come to expect.
In other news, the former Gate House space is NOW OPEN as Vesta’s Roman Hearth. We’re excited to utilize this smaller, warmer space in the village Gate as an Italian restaurant that focuses on the cuisine of Rome. Vesta, the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family, is a symbol of Roman prosperity. Her kitchen fire and her representation of the home and family was the inspiration behind this new concept. Vesta’s hearth is represented by our Forno Bravo pizza oven, crafted in and delivered from Italy, and used to create wood-fired Roman dishes with high heat and aromatic wood. Under the excellent direction of Chef William Hughes, Vesta’s kitchen produces classical Roman cuisine with a modern aesthetic.
We highly recommend making a reservation, as seating is limited. Vesta currently serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and is closed on Monday. Please visit our website for hours of operation and to view our menu at www.vestasromanhearth.com. You can request a reservation, send us a message or apply for employment through the website as well. We look forward to your visit, and thank you in advance for your loyal patronage.
- Tuesday nights are BYO bottle of wine.
- Wednesdays are Lasagna night.
- Thursday nights feature Porchetta, a Roman favorite.
- Sundays are for Sunday Sauce!
With Sincerest Gratitude,
Kristen and Mike
